No. Every character is fictional and every reply is generated by a language model. Replies can be wrong, made up or out of character, and they are not advice — medical, legal, financial or otherwise.
No. The app creates a guest account on first launch, tied to the installation rather than to you. You can link a Google account later, which is what lets you keep your chats if you reinstall the app or change phones.
They stay on the server but become unreachable: a fresh installation gets a new identifier and therefore a new guest account. Link a Google account to avoid this.
Your conversations are yours. They are stored on our server so that they survive between sessions and devices, and their text is sent to the AI provider that generates the reply. They are not shown to other users. Characters you publish are visible to everyone, but the chats you have with them are not.
Yes, with daily limits on messages. A subscription removes the limits and unlocks images in chat and longer memory.

Characters you publish, your profile and your comments are seen by other people, so they must not contain nudity, sexually explicit imagery, or real-world violence and gore. Private chats are a different matter — they stay between you and the character, and nobody else sees them. The full list is in the Terms of Service.
